In this campground, we were graced with 6 minute hot showers
each day. These showers were located
within the men’s and women’s bathrooms respectively. This obvious fact was maybe not so obvious
for some people in the campground. Upon
entering my stall #4, I heard the snickering of my dad and Brandt in stalls #2
and #3. As I inserted my token, my dad
leans over and asks me if there was a man AND a woman in stall #5 next to
me. What?! I almost said “NO” without
checking, but to humor him, I glanced under the stall. Much to my chagrin, two pairs of flip flops
and four legs (two which were clearly feminine) appeared on the other
side. As I looked back at my dad over
the stall and nodded my head yes, it was all that Brandt could do not to burst
out laughing and my dad’s jaw dropped.
When the couple’s 6 minutes was up and the water stopped, the WOMAN
walked past the line of waiting men as if she belonged there.
We saw the pair of them later walking down the road in the
campground. We weren’t quick enough to
get a picture, but they will forever be remembered as the couple in stall
#5.
p.s. We will not be
using stall #5 for the remainder of our stay here.

I'm sure they were just conserving shower tokens. :-)
